So Sad! Comednain Basketmouth's Mum Dies


Popular comedian Basketmouth has lost his mum. He disclosed the sad news via his page today: 

"Last night my angel left me, my first love stopped breathing and it's the deepest pain I've ever felt. I love you for every sacrifice you made to make me the man I am today, I've loved you through the tough times. I've loved you through happier days and all I can say at this point is that I will love you forever. I will miss you mummy." May the good Lord grant her eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss. RIP!

Two young Nigerians based in Manchester, United Kingdom have been punished by a Crown Court for their part in a Nigerian inspired internet banking scam which could have netted a phenomenal £19million after hacking the accounts of nearly 2,500 people. Kidnapped Wazobia FM's Presenter Akas Released, recounts his ordeal in kidnappers den

For seven days, Port Harcourt-based radio presenter Anthony Akatakpo, popularly known as Diplomatic Akas Baba, was the unwilling 'guest' of a band of kidnappers that stormed his home about two weeks ago. Not only did Akatakpo's abductors shoot him in the leg before taking him away, they threatened to kill him if his wife failed to pay them a ransom of N10m. But thankfully, Akas Baba was eventually released by his abductors although they did not get the money as demanded. Recounting his ordeal in the kidnappers den, Akas in a chat with Punch, said his abductors kept him blindfolded in an uncompleted building located inside a forest and fed him only fufu, bread and water.
