According to reports, Adriana Andrade, a 19yr old Brazilian girl swallowed her cell phone because she was scared her boyfriend would read her text messages from another man. Her boyfriend demanded to see the phone, she ran out and swallowed the phone. She had to undergo an operation to have it removed.. I wondered... Is there no delete button on her phone?

There was mayhem at the Seme border area of Lagos State on Thursday after a 35-year-old man, Saturday Joel, was shot by officials of the Nigerian Customs Service. Eyewitnesses said Joel was hit by a stray bullet while some customs officers were trying to apprehend a motorist who was smuggling a red Volkswagen bus from Benin Republic into Nigeria. It was learnt that after the shooting, some residents took to the streets in protest. The residents were said to have alleged that customs officials had killed at least three motorists this month under the pretext that they were smugglers. It was learnt that in the ensuing pandemonium,the customs officials stationed in the area fled. However, a Superintendent of Customs, identified as J. I Motojelu, was said to have been driving by at the time. A 19 year old female student of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) Department of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) has been arrested for allegedly pouring hot water on her boyfriend shortly after his birthday at Miracle Hall, BHS area in Iree last Saturday. According to a report by Daily Trust, the attacker Yetunde poured the hot water on Niyi Adelana (pictured above) because he invited other girls to his party and flirted with them right in front of her Niyi, a Higher National Diploma (HND) II studentof Computer Science, suffered serious burns and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State, DSP Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident in a chat with Daily Trust. This is to be achieved by purchasing all the shares in LCC. A Peaceful protest organized by Nigeria Students Delta State over the continuous Academic Staff Union ofUniversities (ASUU) strike turned out to be bloody as police were alleged to have fired both tear gas and gunshots at students to prevent them from protesting. Consequently many of the students were alleged to have received various degree of injuries. A three hundred level student was allegedly       seriously injured is presently receiving treatment in an hospital. It was gathered that three of the students who were critically injured as a result of the police action are admitted in different hospitals at Asaba, Delta State.

When Nonso Ozoemena, a 28-year-old man, arrived in Lagos, his plan was to set up a business so that he would be able to support his widowed mother and his seven siblings in Anambra State. Soon after, he was able to open a restaurant in Trade Fair Complex, FESTAC, and it seemed his dream was coming true. His expectation was however eroded after a drunken police corporal, Mohammed Abubakar, shot him in the eye. Ozoemena said he was shot in the eye in the FESTAC area on August 5, 2013.
