Davido and Olamide shot the video for their unreleased collaboration titled “The Money“. The video, directed by Sesan, does not have a set release date yet, but I’m told it drops soon. As for Davido‘s sophomore album “BADDEST“, its been pushed back for “special reasons” related to international distribution. Njideka Akunyili Crosby (pictured left above), one of the daughters of the late Dora Akinyuli is the 2015 winner of the tenth annual Joyce Alexander Wein Artist Prize. The Studio Museum in Harlem made the announcement on Monday, October 26, revealing that it was bestowing its Wein Prize – a $50,000 award won in the past by esteemed artists like Lorna Simpson, Glenn Ligon and Trenton Doyle Hancock – to the Nigerian-born painter who has lived and worked in the United States for many years. According to Randy Kennedy in the New York Times, the prize – established by George Wein, a founder of the Newport Jazz Festival, in honor of his wife, Joyce Alexander Wein, a trustee of the museum who died in 2005 – has been given every year since 2006 to established or emerging African-American artists. Ms. Crosby, 32, who recently moved to Los Angeles, has become known for large-scale paintings that depict African and American domestic scenes. In an interview with People magazine, Khloe Kardashian spoke out for the first time about her rumoured reconciliation with estranged husband, Lamar Odom, following his hospitalization after a drug binge at a brothel in Nevada. Khloe said she is not getting back with Lamar yet despite holding off on divorce proceedings. She said she only did it in order to be able to make medical decisions for him while in a life-threatening condition. She said; “I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it. ‘For medical decisions and a ton of other things, it’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about us having a relationship. Only time will tell. “‘I loved him always, and I will always love him. I don’t believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don’t have to be with that person in order to love him.’

If you watch Yoruba movies, then you must be very familiar with them. After one year of his twin brother’s passing, the other brother of Yoruba actors popular known as ‘Ibeji Oran’ has died. According to a LIB source, Taiwo died a few days ago and has been buried in his house at Owode along Ilesa, Osun State. His twin brother, Kehinde died exactly one year ago, in October 2014. Both twins who starred in a popular Yoruba film ‘Ide’ were in their early 40’s. He is survived by a daughter born to him by his ex-wife, Folake. May their souls rest in peace, amen.

Thank God for sparing the life of celebrated Nollywood star actor Yul Edochie as he survived armed robbers attack in Enugu on Friday, October 16. Yul was attacked by armed robbers while in Enugu to shoot a movie. Yul said he was relaxing in his hotel after the day shooting when suddenly armed robbers invaded the hotel. “I really wish it’s a rumour but it’s not. This really happened. I was attacked by armed robbers on Friday night in enugu while I was relaxing in my hotel premises after the day’s shoot. Luckily I escaped but unfortunately I crashed into a glass door as I was running for dear life and sustained this cut on my ear and a few bruises. Not a funny experience at all. I’m back to Lagos to run a full scan to be sure all is well inside. I thank God for His protection,”  Yul said on his Instagram page. Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding. The Spanish international was clocked driving at 110mph on the A3 in Surrey by a police officer holding a speed camera.  Fabregas was understood to have been behind the wheel of a metallic green coloured Aston Martin Vantage at the time. He was ordered to pay £2,560, made up of a £1,000 fine, £625 court costs, £840 to the expert who examined the camera and a £100 victim surcharge. The player was given six points on his licence, taking him up to 12 in total and therefore giving him an automatic six-month driving ban.
