Taribo West loses mum

Former Super Eagles' defencer, Taribo West has lost his mother.

Wakaji Batubo West who passed away on Monday at the former AC Milan

defender's home in Lagos, South-West Nigeria was aged 90.

Taribo, who is the presiding pastor of Shelter in the Storm Ministries

spoke to Brila fm on the unforgettable memories of his late mother:

"She was a very disciplined woman, loving and I personally would miss her".

Taribo who is the 8th of 9 children noted that the family would

celebrate the good memory of Wakaji Batubo in Lagos and further burial

rites would be announced by the family when they meet in Port

Harcourt, Rivers State, South-South Nigeria.

Following the declaration of homosexuality as illegal in Nigeria, Uganda and other African countries, the perpetrators of the act are now seeking refuge in countries where their laws are less stringent. One of these nations is Cote d'Ivoire. No kissing, no petting. As gay bars go, this one is pretty well-behaved. Sepp Blatter Found To Have Dated Cristiano Ronaldo's Ex Irina Shayk

Cristiano Ronaldo's ex girlfriend (dated for five years), Irina Shayk has been accused of having an affair with disgraced FIFA President, Sepp Blatter.  A Spanish daily newspaper, El Mundo made the claims above in an article title, 'All the women in Blatter's life' published yesterday, June 4.  According to the paper, the 79-year-old 'had a relationship' with the Russian beauty after dating tennis player Ilona Boguska but before meeting glamorous Linda Barras, 50.  The paper writes that Blatter and Shayk's relationship lasted sometime between 2002 and 2014.
